Sabotaged (Review)
This review is for the book "Sabotaged" by Dani Pettrey. This is the 5th book in the Alaskan Courage series. I actually have read the fourth book in the series, "Silenced", and enjoyed it, so I predicted that I would like this one as well. The great thing about these books is you can read each book as a stand-alone novel if you prefer. It is a little difficult to remember all the characters' names and relationships at first, but it doesn't take long to get familiar with them all.
As with the other Pettrey book I've read, this one was full of action and adventure, and of course, romance. In this book, Kirra Jacobs and Reef McKenna are working together to solve a mystery that involves Kirra's missing uncle, his kidnapped daughter, and oil rigs that have been turned into ticking bombs. Throughout it all, the two are becoming closer and realizing their true feelings for one another.
I think this book was well-written. It will lead you on an adventure and keep your attention. I think reading the entire series from the beginning would be great so you can really get to know the characters, and I can vouch for the two in the series I have read.
Thank you to Bethany House for a copy of the book in exchange for my honest review.
