This review is for the book "Victory Through the Lamb" by Mark Wilson. The front cover of this book declares it as "A guide to Revelation in plain language" and I think that is a very accurate description of this book.
Each chapter begins with a story of a martyr, some scriptural stories and some historical stories. The author then goes straight into translating specific scripture in Revelation. The end of the chapter is used for picking apart the scripture and explaining it using lots of other scripture and insight. There are so many things I learned from this book because Wilson explains it all in a down-to-earth way that is easy to read and understand. I think this is a great commentary to read if you are interested in the book of Revelation.
