God, Me, and Sweet Iced Tea
This review is for the book "God, Me, and Sweet Iced Tea" by Rose Chandler Johnson. This is a devotional book which I really enjoyed reading and looked forward to reading every day. The devotions are short, so some days I had time to do just one, but some days I was able to do multiple pages. Each devotion chapter has scripture to go along with it, and I enjoyed looking up those individual scriptures and focusing on them. Then there were discussion questions in case the reader wants to journal. Each chapter also contained a prayer, a "sweet tea moment" (a sentence that paraphrased the devotion) and a "prayer focus", such as those suffering emotional pain or homeless people.
I really enjoyed the writing style of this book and I felt the devotions really spoke to me. I highly recommend this book as a daily reading tool along with your Bible.
Thank you to Litfuse Publicity for a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
