Aloha Safari Zoo

 Last weekend we finally got to go to the Aloha Safari Zoo which is quite close to our house, in Cameron. We had heard great things from several people and we really weren't disappointed. The price is right and we spent just under three hours there so we felt it was money well spent. They had a great assortment of animals: goats, cows, pigs, peacocks, alpacas, snakes, birds, tigers, zebras, camels, bears, hyenas, monkeys... well, let's just say the variety was great. Admission is only $8 per person and for an extra $3 you can take a train ride all around the zoo. We even got to see a baby water buffalo who was just hours old. Our kids loved it and I recommend you check it out, especially if you aren't sure your kids will make it through the entire Asheboro zoo!
