This is a really cute book called "I.Q. Goes to School" by Mary Ann Fraser. In this book, I.Q. is the class pet in Mrs. Furber's classroom. The only problem is, I.Q. doesn't want to be the class pet - he wants to be a student!
The book is really fun to read. It goes through each month of the school year, discussing the activities that take place in the classroom and how I.Q. puts his own spin on everything, such as fingerpainting rainbows and making valentines. My kids really enjoyed this book and I enjoyed reading it with them. I do recommend this book for kids around 3-6.
