A Love Undone (Review)
This review is for the book "A Love Undone" by Cindy Woodsmall. I love Cindy Woodsmall and I have enjoyed every book I have read by her. This one did not disappoint me either. This was an Amish story that included a twist I have never heard of or encountered in an Amish novel. In this story, Jolene falls in love with a man named Andy. There wouldn't be any issue, except that Andy is a grass widower. Jolene misunderstands, thinking he is simply a widower. A grass widower is someone who has been left by their spouse, meaning they are still legally married. For Jolene to have feelings for him is akin to adultery in the Amish world, even though she misunderstood his status.
I really enjoyed this book. It has a lot of interesting aspects that were different from some other Amish novels, such as talking about art and the grass widower concept.
Thank you to Waterbrook Press for a copy of the book in exchange for my honest review.
