This review is for the book "Songs of a Suffering King" by J.V. Fesko. I absolutely love the Psalms in the Bible, so I could not wait to read this book. In this book, Fesko goes through the first eight psalms and explains them in great detail as well as relating them to one another. As the author explains, we should read the Psalms as songs on a CD. He even gives excellent examples of resources that have put the Psalms to music as they likely would have been in Biblical times.
I found this book easy to read yet very informative. It has found a place on my bookshelf so I can refer back to it in the future.
