This review is for the book "Unwrapping Lazarus" by Pete Carter. The basis of this book is that you can expect bigger things from God. The subtitle is "Freeing the supernatural in your life" and that is definitely a big part of this book. Trusting in God and letting the supernatural things happen.
I will admit that I am usually more on the skeptical side when reading books like this (though I wish I wasn't) but I really enjoyed this book. It is well written and Carter includes a lot of personal experiences, including trust struggles he's had with God. He's very honest and I appreciate that.
Each chapter also has some "deeper thinking" questions to go along with it. I like that aspect of the book as well.
