This review is for the book "The Hardest Peace" by Kara Tippetts. Kara is the author of the Mundane Faithfulness blog, which I highly recommend you begin following. Kara is a wife of a pastor and the mother of four children, and she has been battling cancer for over a year. She is completely open about her journey on her blog and on Facebook, and this book is her collection of thoughts on how to feel peace in the midst of the hardest times in your life.
I love the honesty in her words and I love how she made me think about how I go through life, even though I have nothing traumatic happening right now. At some point, I will face something traumatic in my life (more likely than not) and I hope I can remember her advice in that season. I highly recommend this book.
