God Gave Us Angels Review
This review is for the book "God Gave Us Angels" by Lisa Tawn Bergren. This is the third book by Bergren that I have owned and I love it just as much as I love the others. I seriously wondered how the book would approach angels, because so many times angels are passed off as cute little children or maybe just beings that flutter around heaven all day with no real purpose. But Bergren digs into this topic, relating it easily to a child's mind. All kinds of questions are answered appropriately, about guardian angels, the myth of the halo, and most importantly, what an angel's role is. I feel like this book was very soundly based on scripture, such as the fact that we do not become angels when we die, and angels were created to serve God, as well as several other points. My kids love these books and so do I. The books are easy to read over and over again and bring up great conversations. I consider this one a big hit. I highly recommend it as well as her other "bear" books.
Thank you to Waterbrook Multonah for a copy of the book in exchange for my honest review.
