Church Stuff

This past month we were able to do several fun things at church or with church friends.

A couple of weekends ago, my parents watched the kids so we could take the motorcycle up to Morrow Mountain with our pastor and his wife. It was beautiful in the morning and by lunch time it was Hot! It was really beautiful and so peaceful.

That evening we went to a friend's house to have a cookout. Lots of other kids were there, so Brianna and Hunter were well occupied with friends!!

Cupcakes are goooood.

Then, last Sunday we had an ice cream social after church. People brought homemade ice cream and all kinds of toppings. Delicious!!

Just so happened to be our pastor's birthday too!!

Brianna and her friend Adrianna were totally swooning over Stephen's ability to throw them WAY high in the air!

We've had so much fun lately! And now, this week, Vacation Bible School starts at church! A busy week ahead but I'm so excited!

End of May

Got to get some pictures off my phone! These are all from the end of May which means I am WAY behind!

Bubbles. Still a crowd favorite after three years. Do bubbles ever go out of style?

My daughter, the fashion queen!

This is the kind of sweet treat I can look forward to when the kids play with their Ice Cream Shoppe playdoh set! Waiter, there's a lizard in my ice cream!

This is a walkie-talkie in Brianna's Barbie Jeep that is regularly turned into a microphone for Bri to sing into... or shove in YOUR face to hear YOU sing!

I was trying to catch a picture of Hunter's own fashion style - the bracelet worn on the top of the arm. I think he gets that style from his cousin Claire!

Why I hate going to the store with Hunter:

Loving our fresh corn from our produce boxes!!

These pictures are from a day that cousin Kaleb was at our house!

Chocolate cake party right before bedtime! You can't beat that!

21 Months

I literally just watched Hunter walk into the bathroom. Stand at the toilet. Pee. Wipe with toilet paper. Throw the toilet paper in the toilet. Flush. Walk out and not look back.

I'm not even LOOKING for him to potty train any time soon, but how cute is it that he knows the process!?

Madison's Baby Shower

A couple of weeks ago we had a baby shower for a girl at church. I didn't get a ton of pictures but here are the ones I did get!

I made her a diaper wreath instead of a diaper cake. I saw a picture on Pinterest with no instructions so I made up my own version. I bought a foam wreath from Hobby Lobby. Then I used hot glue to put each diaper on the wreath. I got socks, washcloths, pacifiers, and baby bathing needs (shampoo, etc.) to fill in the gaps on the wreath. I know this isn't a great picture, but what are you gonna do?

The belly cake that Madison's friend made!

There was plenty of food to entertain the kids but the camera is always entertaining...
