I just finished reading "Apostate: The Men Who Destroyed the Christian West" by Kevin Swanson. Wow. Once I started reading this I could think of a couple of others I would definitely be recommending this book to.

This is a tough book to read. Swanson is obviously very intelligent. The book is not light reading and I really had to pay attention while I was reading. It wasn't what I would call "fun" reading but it was definitely an intriguing subject. Swanson talked about many men which I have heard of - recently, in fact - such as John Dewey, Mark Twain, and John Lennon. I bet you would be surprised at the men who are on this list. I learned a lot from reading this book.

I try very hard not to believe everything I read. I didn't quite understand everything I read in the book so I don't want to say that Swanson was 100% infallible in everything he wrote. I will recommend it to a couple of my pastor/apologetics friends because I think they will be able to understand it and be very interested in it.

If you are interested in apologetics, you will like this book.
