It Had To Be You Review

Susan May Warren has written a fun novel in "It Had To Be You". It's the story of hockey player Jace Jacobsen and newspaper reporter Eden Christiansen. Eden is her brother Owen's number one fan, and he is on the same hockey team as Jace. Throughout the novel, Eden and Jace continue to butt heads even though there is an obvious attraction between them.

I think the only problem I had with this novel is something that is very common in most romance novels - there are a lot of miscommunications and misunderstandings. There are a lot of things thought but not said, which causes most of the disagreements between Eden and Jace. It was kind of aggravating, but it was probably quite realistic.

Eden was definitely on a journey to self-discovery in this novel so it was pretty nice to see that journey and the conclusion of it. I did like this story and the characters, even during all their misunderstandings!

If you like Christian romance you will enjoy this novel.
