I just finished reading "Moms' Night Out" by Tricia Goyer and the corresponding "Moms' Night Out and Other Things I Miss..." by Kerri Pomarolli.
These books are amazing. I really don't know what else to say about them. If you are a mother of young children, I urge you to grab both of these books as soon as you can get your hot little hands on them. I have yet to see the movie but I can't wait to see it now that I've read the books. The fiction book is hilarious and completely honest. It hits on every feeling most of us mothers have - wanting to put on a facade for others, not being honest with each other, struggling but believing we're the only one struggling - but puts a humorous twist on everything. The devotions are extremely down-to-earth and pretty quick but very relevant. The titles are things such as "Nutella Binges", "I'm Not Fat, It's My Thyroid" and "Clutter, Clutter, Clutter".
I can't wait to tell everyone about these books. I highly recommend them and look forward to talking to all my mom friends about the books!
Thank you to Litfuse Publicity and B&H Publishing Group for a copy of the books in exchange for my honest review.
