This review is for the book "Neil Patrick Harris: Choose Your Own Autobiography" by Neil Patrick Harris. I honestly do not usually read autobiographies, biographies, memoirs, or anything of that nature, but when I saw this particular one is based off the old Choose Your Own Adventure books - I was sold!
Needless to say this book is chock full of hilarity. I really do not know much about Neil Patrick Harris. I know the basics - I remember his Doogie days - and I know people who enjoy his TV show HIMYM, but I really didn't know much else about him. What better way to tell your life story than by letting readers choose their path in your life?
After reading this book it is completely obvious what a great sense of humor Harris has. Thanks to this book I now have one magic trick I can actually perform. I also have a couple of recipes from his husband who is apparently a trained chef. And the letters from friends of Harris add another hilarious touch to the book.
If you are a fan of NPH you'll love this book. If you don't know much about him, you'd enjoy it anyway, in my opinion.
