How Many Times (Review)

This review is for the book "How Many Times Do I Have to Tell You?" by Rachael Carman. I am pretty sure this book was written for me, because on the day I received this book in the mail I had literally just said this to one of my kids.

The book is filled with devotions with phrases we parents hear ourselves say frequently - "Slow down!", "Hold my hand.", "Answer me when I call you.", "Please stop that." and "I love you." as well as many others. Each devotion is related to one phrase, and Carman tells what she believes God is saying to us through these words. For example, the phrase "Stop whining!" to us might be our reminder that God is our Provider and reminding us to be more positive. There are reflective questions at the end of each devotion which really added to the devotional.

I enjoyed this book a lot and loved Carman's writing style and honesty. I think every mom will see a bit of herself in this book.

Thank you to Litfuse Publicity for a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
