Miracle at the Higher Grounds Cafe (Review)

This review is for the book "Miracle at the Higher Grounds Cafe" by Max Lucado. I have always been a huge fan of Lucado's non-fiction, and I have heard him speak and I love the way he speaks. He is so down-to-earth. I was excited to read this fiction book written by him because I assumed I would enjoy it as much as his other works. I was correct.

This novel introduces Chelsea, who has been very publicly humiliated by her NFL superstar husband. She is trying to start her own life separate from him, but she has a lot of obstacles in her way. Fortunately, she has a bunch of heavenly beings looking out for her, including a guardian angel who is on a mission to help support Chelsea in her decisions.

This book is an easy read and it was the type of book I wanted to keep reading. I enjoyed it and would love to read more fiction by Lucado in the future.

Thank you to Litfuse Publicity for a copy of the book in exchange for my honest review.
