Friend Me Review

I recently read "Friend Me" by John Faubion, and by "read" I mean that I finished the book in less than two days. I was intrigued by the book's back cover. The storyline is about a couple, Scott and Rachel, who are both searching for something. Rachel turns to a website called Virtual Friend Me, a website where you create your own virtual friend to talk to. She tells Scott about the website and on a whim, he checks it out. Unfortunately, he begins to use the website in such a way that he knows he is being unfaithful to Rachel, even though the person he is talking to is virtual. What he doesn't know is that there is a real woman behind his conversations, and she wants him all to herself.

The story is full of suspense. It is actually a pretty good representation of something that could easily happen with technology today, if someone sinister was behind it. I think it was a good read, and I recommend it if you enjoy the Christian suspense genre.

Thank you to Litfuse Publicity and Simon and Schuster for a copy of the book in exchange for my honest review.
