Scraps of Evidence Review

"Scraps of Evidence" by Barbara Cameron is a new novel in the Quilts of Love series. I like inspirational suspense novels and this one did not disappoint. Although I had not read any other books in the series, that did not make a difference. I do not know how closely related the books in this series are because they are all written by different authors.

In this book, Tess is a police officer who is trying to find a footing in the field due to the fact that she lives in a small town and is female. Her new partner, Logan, comes in and basically immediately falls in love with her, and vice versa. Just as soon as he comes into town, a mystery emerges and they are tracking a serial killer.

You figure out pretty quickly who the killer is, and then the rest of the story is really just waiting to see how long it will take for the characters to put the pieces together. I felt like this story was really predictable, but in the end I actually really enjoyed it. I liked the characters and I liked their story together, even though I knew exactly how it was going to end.

Thank you to Litfuse Publicity and Abingdon Press for a copy of the book in exchange for my honest review.
