Keepers of the Covenant (Review)

This review is for the book "Keepers of the Covenant" by Lynn Austin. This is a book in her Restoration Chronicles series. I'm sad to say that I was supposed to receive the first book in this series a long time ago for review and unfortunately did not have the chance. But I have been very fortunate to read some of Lynn Austin's other books, so I looked forward to reading this one.

I will say this about Austin's books (the ones I have read): they are full of extreme detail. When you pick up one of her books it is overwhelming. They are hundreds of pages long and you wonder how you will ever get through this book! I will tell you how you will get through it though - you will not want to put it down. It is rare that I enjoy a book with so much detail, but I have loved every book of Austin's I have read. These books are written in Biblical times and readers can tell the depth of research Austin had to do in order to write these books. This particular one focuses on the time period of Esther, Ezra, and the history between the Israelites and Babylonians.

I highly recommend this book. Do not let the amount of pages overwhelm you. I promise the story will suck you in and you will love it!

Thank you to Litfuse Publicity and Bethany House for a copy of the book in exchange for my honest review.
