Rhythmical Rhymes of Biblical Times (Review)

Kelly Pulley Treasury of Bible Stories

This review is for the book "Treasury of Bible Stories: Rhythmical Rhymes of Biblical Times" by Kelly Pulley. I have to say that I love finding new books that both I and my children enjoy. This is a great addition to our bookshelf. This book goes over most of the major Bible stories and tells the story as a poem. The way the stories are told are catchy and my kids always say, "One more! One more!"

I think that the goal of making Bible stories into rhymes is a lofty goal, and I would say that Pulley achieves greatness throughout about 95% of the book. It is tough to create rhymes and I completely understand that sometimes as you read it the phrasing will be a little off. It's nothing the kids will notice and it doesn't make this book any less of a great book. In fact, we added it to our homeschool to supplement our Bible time. The rhymes are catchy and the stories are familiar, but short enough to last through the attention spans of my children. I highly recommend this book!

Thank you to Litfuse Publicity for a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
